Start your new year off right by installing a pet door. Finally your pet can go potty outside on its own accord.

Remove
The first step is to simply remove the door from the hinges, and place on the saw horses; unless you want to trace and cut in place, which can be a bit tricky.
Trace
Most pet doors come with a template of the door. Follow the instructions on your template for proper tracing. This will be mind-numbingly simple for cats, but a little more in-depth for larger animals.
Cut
First, drill holes through the inside corners of the template lines. From there, equip your jigsaw and finish cutting out the template lines, staying on the inside.
Verify & Install
Take your pet door frame and make sure it fits the hole. If not, trim until you have a snug fit. Then, Fit the frame in the door & attach with provided screws.
