Use this folding technique to give your linen life this Thanksgiving.

Step One

Start with a square

Step Two

Fold the big square in half. Then fold it in half again to make a smaller square.

Step Two

Fold the square in half.

Step Three

Fold it in half again to return to a square

Step Four

Flip the napkin so that the creased edges are at the bottom with the loose edges on top. Fold the top (loose) corner to the bottom.

Step Five

Fold the next loose corner the same way, but leave an inch between folds.

Step Six

Repeat Step Five once more.

Flip the napkin over. Fold over the right corner towards the left corner, as shown. Press down gently to crease.

Now do the opposite, folding the left in towards the right, pulling it as much as you did in Step Seven, and crease.

Flip the napkin over, place in your silverware, and enjoy!
