Tips for an Extravagant Entryway
A few minor changes can leave your entryway looking brand new and inviting. The entryway sets the mood for your entire house, so make sure it's done perfectly.
Add a Runner
A runner draws guests inside your home. Keep it clear of furniture to make the space feel open. Stating the obvious, make sure you can freely open your front door.
If you don't want to clean a runner rug, you can paint one to the floor.
Add Some Reflection
Add a large mirror or fewer smaller ones to add depth and bring lighting into your entryway
A Place to Sit
Give kids somewhere to sit down and take off their shoes to minimize the mess. It's a good idea to get a bench with storage, or place shoes underneath it.
Shadowboxes
Add shadowboxes to get some nicely-needed depth and texture. Fill them with pictures and other décor, or let them speak for themselves.
